PPE Customer Support Specialist - Field Based

£30,000 + benefits | Home-based (Need to live in the central belt of England) | UK-wide travel | Permanent

We're working with a well-established business within the workwear, protective clothing and PPE sector, who are looking for a PPE Customer Support Specialist to join their team.

This is a customer-facing, field-based role suited to someone with experience in customer-facing based work and has a clear driving licence (Van hire provided when travelling.

The Role

  • Travel to customer sites to measure and fit employees for PPE and protective clothing.
  • Measure new recruits and carry out remeasures where required.
  • Complete customer site audits and PPE inspections.
  • Support external providers with PPE inspection, decontamination, and repairs.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records.
  • Manage your own workload, travel schedule, and priorities.
  • Represent the business professionally when visiting customers.

About You

  • Previous experience within PPE, workwear, protective clothing, or uniforms would be beneficial; however, if you have strong customer-facing skills and are looking to move away from retail or similar industries.
  • Experience measuring, fitting, or inspecting garments is highly desirable; however, full training will be given.
  • Open to travel, including some later evenings and weekends occasionally.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
  • Need to be DBS checked.
