B2B PR Account Director sought for specialist PR tech agency working on a tech clients. 100% remote working!

About The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established specialist B2B PR agency that works with start-ups and tech companies from all sectors.

About The Role

From winning new business with creative ideas, to executing them with fantastic client and project management skills and securing national, business and vertical media coverage - they are looking for someone to get stuck into the business and help the agency grow.

This is a new hire due to continued expansion and growth and will see you take ownership and responsibility for your own clients and area of the business. You will be pitching new ideas and working at a fast pace to advise founders, investors and senior stakeholders with conviction, strong judgement and transparency at all times.

The ideal person will be able to run hard-working press offices, finding angles for clients in the absence of 'new news', plan an effective fundraising strategy and see national media angles within trade sector press releases.

Remote working from anywhere in the UK, but with quarterly London meetings.

About You

The successful Freelance Account Director will have the following skills and experience:

  • At least five years solid PR experience within B2B start-up sector
  • A strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists and members of the press
  • Excellent client handling, particularly within the start-up world with fast-growth founders
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing PR campaigns for a range of clients
  • Commercial acumen and experience of developing new business
  • A deep understanding and knowledge of the PR and communications sector
  • Driven, ambitious and willing to contribute to the long-term success of the agency
