Account Director for an Award-Winning Independent PR & Comms Agency
Regional and National Client Base

We’re looking for a talented Bristol PR Account Director for an industry-leading, independent PR and Communications Agency that delivers cutting-edge campaigns for a range of professional service clients. Their client list is exciting and varied, and there’s a good mixture of work there too. For this role we are looking for an Account Director with strong B2B/B2C experience - ideally you'll have worked with clients in this space at a senior level.
What You’ll Be Doing
The successful PR Account Director will become a positive, motivational and supportive leadership figure in the business working alongside other senior team members.
- You'll be a senior contact for clients.
- You'll manage and oversee various accounts teams to ensure campaigns are delivered and service level agreements are met.
- Commercially minded and creative in nature, the PR Account Director will be adept at building relationships with key commentators, industry spokespeople, and senior journalists.
- You will also direct and lead PR projects and provide counsel to their clients and board alike.
- As a senior member of the business, you will also deliver new business and grow existing accounts.
- You'll only ever be working at 60% capacity on client work so that you have enough time to focus on the other things that are important from a leadership role.

What Experience You’ll Need to Apply
- Proven track record in a PR agency director role with experience in the B2B and B2C sectors.
- Strong client development and team leadership skills.
- A strategic thinker, able to contribute to the growth and culture of the agency as well as providing amazing client service via a team of Account Managers.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ambitious and excited by the idea of joining an established independent PR agency in growth mode.
