Ready for an agency role where you can actually influence the work?
Agency life isn’t always plain sailing. Markets change, industries evolve and clients come and go. The agencies that stand the test of time are usually the ones that refuse to stand still. That’s exactly what’s happened here.
We’re working with one of Manchester’s most respected integrated agencies — a business that has adapted, evolved and continued to grow while building long-standing relationships with ambitious brands.
Now they’re looking for an experienced PR Account Director to join the team.
The opportunity
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply service accounts. It’s about influencing them. You’ll become a trusted advisor to a portfolio of high-profile B2B clients, helping shape communications strategies, identify opportunities and deliver work that makes a genuine commercial difference.
One day you might be helping a technology brand navigate a market challenge. The next, developing a thought leadership campaign for a financial services client, before working with colleagues to shape an integrated campaign.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
It’s very much a seat-at-the-table role. Clients will value your opinion, colleagues will lean on your expertise and you’ll have the freedom to make things happen.
The client portfolio is predominantly B2B, spanning technology, financial services, professional services and corporate brands, so you'll need solid B2B PR experience and a good understanding of how businesses operate.
These are long-standing client relationships, built through smart thinking, strong counsel and consistently delivering great work.

You’ll probably already be working at Account Director level within an agency environment and be ready for a role that gives you more freedom and influence.
You’ll be someone who:
- Builds strong, trusted client relationships
- Is comfortable providing senior-level counsel

And what’s in it for you?
This is an agency that genuinely invests in its people. The leadership team cares about careers and has a strong track record of promoting from within. There’s plenty of scope to develop your career, whether that ultimately means moving into Head of Content, Strategy Lead or senior leadership.
You’ll also get:
- Salary around £50,000
- A supportive, collaborative agency culture
- Genuine career development
- The opportunity to work with high-profile B2B brands
- An integrated environment with plenty of scope to influence
- A team that is ambitious without the ego
And perhaps the biggest selling point? The people.
Talented, grounded, thoughtful and genuinely supportive. It’s the kind of environment where people want each other to do well — and that’s rarer than it should be.
Sometimes all it takes is finding the right place to grow.
