Account Executive – B2B Technology PR
£27,000–£32,000 | Fully Remote
Are you an Account Executive looking to develop your career within B2B technology PR – while having the flexibility of a fully remote role?
We’re working with an established technology communications agency looking for a proactive and ambitious Account Executive to join its team.
You’ll work across a portfolio of B2B technology clients, with exposure to sectors including telecoms, enterprise technology, AI and retail technology.
This is a hands-on role offering plenty of opportunity to develop your media relations, writing, campaign and client management experience, while working fully remotely.
The Role
You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of client communications programmes, including:
- Taking ownership of day-to-day press office activity, identifying relevant news opportunities and proactively pitching stories
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with technology journalists, analysts and wider industry contacts
- Drafting press releases, pitches, case studies, bylined articles and other PR content
- Supporting the delivery of media relations campaigns, including interviews, events, social activity and coverage tracking
- Researching forward features, news opportunities and relevant industry trends
- Supporting campaign planning and creative brainstorms
- Identifying and managing relevant awards, conferences and events opportunities
- Supporting client meetings, reporting and day-to-day account management
- Contributing to new business activity and wider agency initiatives

What They're Looking For
You’ll already have some experience working within B2B PR, either at Account Executive level or potentially as a strong Junior Account Executive ready for the next step.

Previous experience across B2B technology is highly desirable, particularly within areas such as telecoms, enterprise technology, AI or retail tech.
You’ll also be:
- A confident and proactive media pitcher
- A strong writer with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable building relationships with journalists and the technology media
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Curious about the technology sector and interested in understanding your clients’ businesses
- A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Keen to continue learning and progressing within PR
