PR Account Manager (B2B PR Agency)

Carshalton, Surrey (hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days home)
Salary
Up to £46,000 (DOE) with a bonus potential of £4k

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our welcoming and professional team in Carshalton, situated within the London Borough of Sutton.
With more than 50 years of industry experience, we proudly hold the PRCA's Communications Management Standard at its highest Platinum tier. This is a true mark of excellence in the PR & Comms sector, which we have held consistently since its introduction 21 years ago.
As an Account Manager, you will create a wide range of written content, including technical articles, press releases, case studies, advertorials, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, web copy, video scripts, and both short & long-form social media posts.
You will work to develop a deep understanding of our clients’ products, technology, and brand to ensure consistency in tone, personality, and style across all activities.
Responsibilities
Reporting to our team of Account Directors, you will:
- Oversee the daily management of accounts
- Build strong client relationships
- Pitch ideas & stories which result in exceptional media coverage
- Collaborate with our in-house design team
- Grow our client’s social media channels
- Attend meetings & events
- Assist in event/exhibition management
Hybrid Working
We have embraced hybrid working and are committed to the benefits it affords both our team and the business. Tuesdays and Thursdays are spent together at our spacious & modern offices in Carshalton, and you are welcome to work from home, or the agency, on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Fridays we all work remotely.

In this role you will work with a diverse range of global clients, primarily in the animal health, veterinary, and manufacturing sectors. As an agency, we are also well-known for our expertise in automotive, aviation, and human health, and we take pride in our long-standing client relationships.
PR Account Manager Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in PR, journalism, content creation, or marketing, with a proven track record of producing exceptional written content.
- Education: Degrees in arts, media, or public relations are highly desirable. Qualifications from NCTJ, PRCA, or CIPR are a plus.
- Skills: Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for media, including social media.
- Creativity: A flair for creativity and innovation.
- Networking: Experience in building influential networks.
- Project Management: Solid project management skills.
- Briefing: Ability to brief designers, photographers, and video crews with precision and knowledge.
- Deadline Management: Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
