Are you an ambitious PR Account Manager looking for the chance to work on purpose-led campaigns that have a genuine impact?
We’re working with an award-winning communications agency that partners with organisations across consumer, third sector and Government to tackle issues that matter – from wellbeing and financial resilience to education, sustainability and social change.
The team is looking for a confident Account Manager who can combine strong PR fundamentals with creative thinking, excellent organisation and a real curiosity about the world around them.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be trusted with a varied mix of accounts and will have plenty of opportunity to take ownership, develop client relationships and play an active role in shaping campaigns.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Coming up with creative PR ideas and turning them into campaigns that earn attention
- Developing media approaches and proactively pitching stories to journalists and broadcasters
- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant media and influencers
- Getting under the skin of different audiences, sectors and issues through research and insight
- Writing everything from press releases and media materials to client communications and campaign content
- Coordinating multiple projects, keeping activity moving and making sure deadlines are met
- Managing day-to-day client contact and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Preparing campaign updates, results and reports for clients
- Getting involved in presentations and new business opportunities
- Working alongside and supporting junior team members, helping them develop their skills and confidence
- Keeping an eye on culture, news and emerging conversations to identify opportunities for clients

What we're looking for
You’ll be someone who enjoys being busy, takes ownership and likes having a genuine role in the success of a campaign.
We’re particularly interested in people who have:
- Experience working in a PR or communications agency environment
- A strong grounding in media relations and earned media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence communicating with clients and presenting ideas
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- An instinct for spotting a good story and understanding what will interest different audiences
- A creative approach to campaign development
- A good understanding of the media landscape and current affairs
- Experience working collaboratively with junior colleagues or taking responsibility for their development
- The commercial awareness to manage budgets and work effectively with suppliers
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to get stuck into whatever is needed
