Department: Client Services
Reports to: Account Director / Senior Account Director
Contract type: Full-time, permanent
About the Role
RG2 is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Hospitality & Travel team, working with a portfolio of hotel and restaurant clients based in London and across Europe. You'll be the day-to-day lead on client accounts, responsible for delivering high-quality PR, communications and campaign work, building strong client relationships, and managing junior team members. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, food & beverage, and travel to work with exciting brands across multiple European markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of hotel and restaurant clients in London and Europe, building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Understand each client's business, brand and commercial objectives, and translate these into effective communications strategies.
- Plan and deliver integrated PR and communications campaigns, including media relations, press trips, influencer partnerships, launches and events.
- Draft high-quality written materials: press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, client reports and presentations.
- Secure top-tier coverage across lifestyle, travel and trade media, and consistently deliver strong press results that demonstrate clear value to clients.
- Monitor and report on coverage, campaign performance and ROI, providing clients with regular, insight-led updates.
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities for clients, and manage those partnerships end to end.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UK and European hospitality, travel, lifestyle and trade media.
- Represent RG2 at industry events, client dinners, hotel/restaurant openings and press trips (some evening and weekend work, and international travel, will be required).
- Support and mentor Account Executives/Junior Account Managers, reviewing their work and helping develop their skills.
- Contribute to new business proposals and pitches.
- Stay on top of trends across hospitality, food & beverage and travel to keep client strategies fresh and competitive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
