PR and Communications Manager

Alessandra Rich is seeking an experienced PR and Communications Manager to lead its London press office and oversee international press, VIP and celebrity relations. This senior, hands-on role combines communications strategy with the daily management of a small, active press office. Working closely with the CEO, Creative Director, Milan team, and sales and e-commerce teams, the successful candidate will translate the brand’s creative and commercial priorities into a focused communications programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement seasonal PR and communications strategies.
  • Build relationships with fashion editors, journalists, stylists, talent representatives.
  • Manage editorial requests, media pitching, interviews, press materials.
  • Develop a targeted VIP and celebrity dressing programme, gifting and product loans.
  • Oversee press samples, international trafficking, couriers, customs documentation and returns.
  • Plan press days, presentations, dinners and special brand projects.
  • Coordinate communications activity with product launches, retailers, e-commerce priorities and key markets.
  • Manage external agencies, suppliers, budgets, deliverables and usage rights.
  • Produce concise reports on coverage, placements, sample activity, events and project performance.
  • Manage the London office and supervise junior staff, interns and freelance support.
  • Act as the principal contact between the London office, CEO and Milan team.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ PR and communications experience within luxury fashion, preferably in-house.
  • A current network of fashion editors, stylists and celebrity representatives.
  • Experience managing VIP dressing, editorial loans and international sample trafficking.
  • Experience running a small team or press office.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets and external partners.
  • A proactive, calm and resourceful approach.
  • Discretion, sound judgement and an affinity with the Alessandra Rich brand.

This position suits someone adaptable and accountable who can move confidently between strategy, relationship management and detailed operational work within a small international luxury-fashion business.
