About The Role
We’re looking for a PR and Marketing Executive to support the Marketing team across creative campaigns, show launches, talent campaigns, and brand partnerships.
The role is broad and offers space to learn and deepen skills in a busy, growing environment. You will support in managing social media, writing promotional and PR copy, creating content calendars, researching trends, and identifying opportunities to raise the profile of shows and talent. The role also involves hands-on PR support, including researching journalists, building media lists, assisting with events, pitching stories, managing coverage, and supporting campaign reporting.
We’re looking for someone creative, culturally curious, and passionate about PR and marketing, who is proactive, organised, and excited to take ownership of projects while learning from senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
PR, Talent & Guest-booking
- Researching journalists and publications, building bespoke media lists, and assisting with pitching and securing PR opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant journalists and industry contacts.
- Maintain the guest booking opportunities spreadsheet, monitoring inbound press releases, and researching and recommending potential guests for our IP shows.
- Attend shoots, events, launches, and PR activities as required, providing on-the-ground support.
- Write clear and engaging talent briefing documents for PR activity, show launches, interviews, events, and other external appearances.
- Take ownership of select PR projects from brief through to delivery, with support and guidance from senior members of the team.

Social & Website
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar, identifying creative opportunities to showcase our shows, talent, clients, company news, and industry expertise.
- Manage the planning, scheduling, and writing engaging copy for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Assist with website management and updates, including company news, PR coverage, new shows, and talent announcements.
Marketing, Events & Communications
- Draft compelling promotional copy for Platform Media’s shows and wider company communications.
- Support event planning, including invitations, guest lists, RSVPs, venue liaison, suppliers, and event communications.
- Draft and submit award entries, panel pitches, conference submissions, and guest speaking opportunities.
- Support the creation of marketing materials and presentations for new business, client meetings, campaigns, and internal use.
Research and Creative
- Support creative concepts, campaigns, and marketing ideas across show launches, talent campaigns, and brand partnerships.
- Support the creation of visual mood boards and creative references for shoots and social content.
- Stay on top of podcast, media, and wider cultural trends, bringing fresh ideas, references, and opportunities to the team.
- Proactively spot cultural and creative moments that could inspire marketing, PR, or content opportunities to feed into campaigns.
Campaign Reporting & Administrative Support
- Support campaign reporting and PCAs, collating media coverage, campaign data, and social metrics and creating clear, visually engaging presentations.
- Create and maintain content calendars across releases, awards, and industry events.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in a marketing and PR role, with a genuine interest in developing your skills, taking on greater responsibility, and progressing your career.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret information and data and present reports with informed learnings.
- Proven experience of copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice and messaging for different contexts.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with journalists, talent, agents, internal teams, and external partners.
- Highly organised and able to manage lots of key dates and calendars effectively.
- Strong creative instinct with a good eye for what makes compelling packaging, thumbnails, formats, and promotional assets.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving environment, take on feedback, and contribute to a small, close-knit team.
