PR Assistant role in a mid-sized international law firm. Birmingham-based. Hybrid working
An international law firm is looking for a social, enthusiastic, and creative PR Assistant to join its wider Business Development & Marketing team.
Working closely with the Head of PR and the wider BD & Marketing team, you will help raise the firm's profile through creative storytelling, media relations, and compelling content.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Head of PR in developing and delivering the firm's PR strategy.
- Research media opportunities and identify relevant opportunities for proactive pitches.
- Assist with drafting and distributing press releases and other PR materials.
- Support social media activity and help develop engaging content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media contacts.
- Monitor relevant media coverage and identify opportunities to enhance the firm's profile.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across the business to identify compelling stories and newsworthy opportunities.
