PR & Communications Executive | UK | HYBRID Heathrow Area
Travel obsessed? Big tech fan? Hey, you’re in good company. If you want to be part of the industry that makes the world go round, then look no further.
Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can’t solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we’re looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.
We’re hiring right now for a PR & Communications Executive! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.
How you’ll make an impact:
Travelport is looking for a PR & Communications Executive to support our External Communications team as we continue to strengthen Travelport’s voice in the travel technology market.
This is a hands-on role for an ambitious early-career communications professional who is interested in media relations, technology storytelling, thought leadership, and events. You will support day-to-day press office activity, media monitoring, media materials, speaking opportunity submissions, event logistics, and the amplification of earned media through close collaboration with our Digital and Social team.
As AI and large language models increasingly shape how people discover and understand brands, credible earned media, expert commentary and consistent external messaging matter more than ever. This role will help Travelport extend the reach of its external narrative and strengthen its position as a travel technology leader.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, collaborative, organised and keen to build a career in PR and communications within a global B2B technology business.
Key responsibilities

- Draft and edit media materials, including press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, reactive statements, talking points, and award submissions.
- Support journalist follow-ups, media outreach, and the coordination of media enquiries.
- Help gather information, proof points, approvals and stakeholder input for external communications activity.
- Support the preparation of interview briefing materials, Q&As and follow-up content.
- Provide reliable day-to-day support when the Head of External Communications is not available.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
