Senior PR & Content Account Manager

Salary: Up to £38,000, depending on experience
Working arrangements: Flexible hours and hybrid working (1 day at home)

The Role

This is a varied role that goes beyond traditional account management. You will help deliver integrated campaigns across a diverse client portfolio, including sport, leisure, professional services, and consumer brands.

You will:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and projects.
  • Develop and deliver integrated PR and content campaigns.
  • Create compelling content and stories for different audiences and channels.
  • Develop thought leadership campaigns and generate media coverage.
  • Develop communications strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Edit and refine content produced by colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively across PR, content, social, and digital.
  • Identify opportunities to generate engagement, awareness, and valuable links.

About You

You will have a background in PR, content, journalism, or communications, with excellent writing and editing skills and a strong understanding of what makes a story newsworthy. You should also have:

  • Experience working in a PR, content, communications, or agency environment.
  • Strong client relationship and account management skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering communications campaigns.
  • The ability to work across both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • An understanding of SEO and digital PR, including content structure, keywords, and link acquisition.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and plenty of ideas.
