I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Is approachable, supportive, and genuinely human in the way you work with clients and colleagues – building trusted relationships and treating people with respect, fairness, and empathy.
If you tick our ideal candidate boxes, we'd love to hear from you! Please share your CV and a short covering letter telling us a little about yourself, why you're interested in the role, and, most importantly, why you think you'd be a great fit for the team.
If we think you could be a great addition to the team, we'll invite you to an initial Teams interview with our PR leads. Nail that conversation, and the next step will be an invitation to our office, where you'll meet more of the team and have the opportunity to show us what you can do.
Impress us, and you could be our newest team member!
