How Will You Contribute?

As the EMEA Public Relations Manager, you will serve as the regional communications lead for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, helping bring EWS's global narrative to life through regional media engagement, storytelling, customer advocacy, and thought leadership.

Working closely with Global Communication teams, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, regional sales teams, executives, customers, PR agencies, you will identify, develop, and amplify stories that strengthen Ericsson's reputation and visibility across EMEA markets, and connect global news, product launches, contributed content to the EMEA market.

This role requires someone who can think strategically while also driving execution, works well and can navigate complex corporate environments, understand media landscape and build relationships with journalists, identifying news opportunities, supporting launches, and helping position Ericsson as a leader in enterprise wireless networking, private 5G, and connected operations.

What Will You Do?

  • Serve as the primary PR lead for EMEA.
  • Develop and execute regional communications plans aligned with global priorities and narratives.
  • Oversee PR agencies across each region (UK, France, Germany), and oversee PR in each market.
  • Identify customer, partner, and industry stories that support business objectives.
  • Manage regional media outreach, interviews, briefings, and proactive storytelling activities.
  • Support product launches, announcements, customer wins, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to translate technical concepts into compelling stories.
  • Develop media materials including press releases, messaging, Q&A documents, bylines, and briefing materials.
  • Support executive communications, speaking opportunities, and event-related media activities.
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies where applicable.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, trends, and competitive communications activity.
  • Collaborate closely with APAC and North America communications counterparts to ensure global alignment.
  • Help identify opportunities to amplify analyst, customer, and partner insights through earned media.

What Are We Looking For?

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, corporate communications, agency, or related roles.
  • Experience working within the technology industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing PR agencies, media relations and securing earned coverage.
  • Experience supporting executive communications and media preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in enterprise networking, telecommunications, cloud, wireless, SaaS, cybersecurity, or related industries.
  • Experience supporting product launches and customer communications.
  • Experience working with regional and global communications programs.
  • Familiarity with analyst relations and industry influencer engagement.
  • Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones.

In this role, you will:

  • Increase EWS visibility across key EMEA media and influencer audiences.
  • Identify and elevate customer and partner success stories.
  • Strengthen executive thought leadership and regional reputation.
  • Support successful product launches and strategic communications initiatives.
  • Deliver measurable earned media results aligned with business priorities.
  • Help ensure EWS's narrative is consistently reflected across regional communications activities.
