Role: PR Manager
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $75,000 – $125,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a PR Manager to shape how the company shows up in the press. The role combines storytelling with relationship building — pitching journalists, managing the news cycle, and protecting reputation when things get hot.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR strategy aligned to business priorities
- Pitch and place stories with target media outlets and journalists
- Manage spokesperson preparation, media training, and interview coordination
- Lead crisis communications and reactive press response
- Manage press releases, media kits, and announcement timelines
- Track media coverage, share of voice, and reputation metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years in PR, communications, or media relations
- Strong existing relationships with journalists in relevant beats
- Track record of placing meaningful coverage in tier-1 outlets
- Excellent writing, including pitches, press releases, and quotes
- Experience managing announcements end-to-end
- Cool head and structured thinking under media pressure
