Job purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & PR, the PR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations activities that build awareness, credibility and reputation for Zeekr in the UK market. The role will support the execution of UK PR strategies aligned with European brand and communications objectives, whilst managing media relationships, product communications, events, press activities and PR agencies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing Zeekr as a leading premium electric vehicle brand, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across automotive, business, technology and lifestyle audiences.
Main responsibilities:
- PR Strategy & Communications: Develop and execute UK PR strategies aligned with European and global objectives to strengthen brand awareness, reputation and market positioning.
- Media Relations: Build strong media relationships, manage enquiries and opportunities, and monitor sentiment to maximise positive brand visibility.
- Content Development: Create compelling press releases, statements and communications that effectively translate automotive and EV technology into engaging stories.
- Events & Product Launches: Plan and deliver vehicle launches, press drives and media events, ensuring strong engagement and premium brand experiences.
- Performance and Budget Management: Monitor PR performance, media coverage and KPIs while managing agency relationships, budgets and cost control.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product and Corporate Communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across UK and European markets.

Education, Skills and Personal characteristics required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong storytelling and content development capability.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
