Established PR and Communications Agency Seeks Senior Account Manager

An established PR and communications agency is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering impactful campaigns and taking ownership of multiple accounts.

As Senior Account Manager, you'll work closely with senior leadership while mentoring junior colleagues and helping clients achieve measurable results. This Senior Account Manager role offers plenty of autonomy, varied work and the opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative agency.

What You'll Be Doing

As Senior Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of retained clients, becoming their trusted day-to-day contact and ensuring campaigns are delivered to a consistently high standard. You'll develop PR plans, identify opportunities for media coverage and manage activity that supports your clients' commercial objectives.

  • Write and oversee high-quality content including press releases, articles, thought leadership, social media content and digital communications.
  • Build relationships with journalists and key stakeholders, proactively generating coverage and helping clients enhance their reputation.
  • Support the wider success of the agency through business development activity, identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and contributing to marketing initiatives, award entries and case studies.
  • Mentor junior team members, helping develop their skills while maintaining high standards across campaign delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
