Job Overview
This Senior Account Manager opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Account Manager who has built their career within a UK PR agency, particularly working across technology clients, and is now ready to step into a leadership role.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will:
- Take ownership of client accounts
- Help shape strategic communications programmes
- Mentor junior team members
- Become a trusted adviser to a portfolio of exciting technology and corporate clients

Key Responsibilities
- Leading integrated PR campaigns for technology and corporate clients from planning through to delivery
- Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their day-to-day strategic adviser
- Developing media strategies that secure high-quality national, trade, and business coverage
- Writing press releases, opinion pieces, media materials, and client communications
- Identifying proactive media opportunities that support clients' commercial objectives
- Managing campaign delivery across multiple accounts while ensuring exceptional client service
- Mentoring and supporting Account Executives and Account Managers within the team
- Presenting campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients
- Supporting new business pitches, proposals, and agency growth initiatives
- Working collaboratively with senior leadership to deliver best-in-class communications campaigns
Required Skills
- Previous experience working within a UK PR agency
- Strong experience managing technology PR clients is essential
- Currently working as an Account Manager and looking to progress into a Senior Account Manager position
- Proven experience delivering successful B2B technology or corporate communications campaigns
- Excellent media relations skills with strong journalist contacts across technology and business media
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior members of a PR team
- Commercial awareness with the confidence to build long-term client relationships
- A proactive, ambitious, and solutions-focused approach to client service
