Description

Reporting to the Brand Marketing & Partnerships Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering our communications strategy for Mountain Warehouse, Animal and EMS. You will work with the PR and Social Media team to grow and deepen media relations for our long-established and thriving business. You will be part of our rapidly expanding teams, working not only in the UK market but also in growth areas such as Canada, the U.S., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Senior PR and Social Media Executives to execute PR and social media campaigns successfully.
  • Pitching new products to media.
  • Writing key PR materials including media alerts and journalist pitches.
  • Building relationships with key journalists, influencers, and content creators.
  • Managing the press office inbox with the team and handling reactive enquiries.
  • Managing the charity inbox enquiries.
  • Attending meetings with key internal stakeholders such as Buying, CRM & Marketplace teams.
  • Staying on top of key trends, viral news, and PR opportunities and sharing with senior team members.
  • Arranging product orders for VIP gifting, stylists, and journalist requests.
  • Tracking and logging orders and press coverage daily and helping with reporting where necessary.
  • Developing social media schedules and planning creative content ideas.
  • Working closely with the graphics team to create artwork briefs.
  • Working closely with celebrity agents and brand ambassadors, helping secure paid and gifted influencer opportunities.
  • Brainstorming and developing creative brand story ideas.
  • Attending meetings with external agencies.
