Are you an experienced accountant looking to join a well-established, professional practice where you'll enjoy genuine variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with a broad portfolio of SME clients?
Our client is an established and highly respected professional services firm with decades of success supporting businesses across a wide range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative team in Horsham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, working across a diverse range of accounting responsibilities, and becoming a trusted adviser to businesses.

- Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements
- Managing bookkeeping and financial records
- Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Providing tax planning and compliance advice
- Supporting business incorporations and company formations
- Advising clients on financial matters and business performance
- Assisting with restructuring and business recovery projects where required
- Ensuring clients remain compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements
You'll ideally have experience within an accountancy practice and be comfortable managing multiple client relationships.
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience within an Accountancy Practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and bookkeeping
- Tax planning and compliance experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar beneficial
