My client is a small but thriving Private Accountancy Practice and are looking for an experienced Accountant with Private Practice Experience based in their small modern office.
Are you looking for a local company within a small very well established business where you are not just a number? This is a small family practice where clients are extremely loyal to the business. The client base is varied and covers very small business to million pound turn over companies.
The client is extremely well respected and offer an open door policy with strong relationships built. This role will play a key part in owning your own portfolio of clients providing expert financial support and service. You will work closely with the other accountants however you must be responsible for your own workload and be willing to be flexible to work closely as a team as the work requires.

The Role
Accountant duties and responsibilities:
- Work with a portfolio of clients providing an exceptional service in relation to their compliance needs.
- Producing and demonstrate Strong technical knowledge across statutory accounts, management accounts bookkeeping, accounting, VAT, CIS, tax compliance, Self-Assessment and Bookkeeping.
- Providing input and advice.
- Confident using digital accounting software (TaxCalc, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Meeting with clients.
- Working to deadlines and demonstrating an organised and methodical approach.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues.
