The Practice Accountant
The Practice Accountant will manage financial accounts, manage junior members of the team, and provide expert advice to clients in the accountancy industry.
Client Details
This is a small-sized organisation within the accountancy industry, dedicated to providing exceptional accounting and financial services. They focus on delivering tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of their clients.
Description
- Prepare and manage financial statements and reports for a portfolio of clients.
- Provide tax planning and compliance services, ensuring adherence to current regulations.
- Oversee bookkeeping for client accounts.
- Offer expert advice on financial strategies and business planning.
- VAT Returns.
- Collaborate with clients to address their accounting and financial queries.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submissions of statutory filings.
- Support junior staff with training and development as required.

Profile
A Successful Practice Accountant Should Have
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Experience in managing multiple client accounts within an accounting practice.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
