More Than Accounts. Build Relationships. Own Your Client Portfolio.

Are you an experienced Practice Accountant who enjoys the variety that comes with working in a smaller accountancy firm?

Perhaps you're ready for more ownership: managing your own clients, becoming their trusted point of contact and getting involved from the very first conversation rather than simply producing the accounts behind the scenes.

We're a well-established independent Chartered Certified Accountancy practice, known for its personal approach, long-term client relationships and outstanding 98% client retention rate.

As the practice continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Accountant who brings strong all-round practice experience and wants the opportunity to develop alongside the business.

If you know your way around accounts and tax but equally enjoy clients, relationships and growing a portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.

Expertise: Accounting | Tax | Financial & Business Support for Individuals and Owner-Managed Businesses

Who We Are

We're an established Chartered Certified Accountancy practice supporting individuals, partnerships and small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses locally and throughout the UK.

Our expertise combines strong foundations across accounting and tax with broader financial support and advice, helping clients manage their financial requirements both today and for the longer term.

But technical expertise is only part of what makes the practice successful.

We believe in knowing our clients and their businesses properly, delivering a personal service that has helped us achieve an impressive 98% client retention rate.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for another talented Accountant who shares that approach.

The Opportunity

This is an all-round practice role with plenty of variety and ownership.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across different sectors and business structures, preparing accounts and supporting their tax and wider accounting requirements while developing strong, trusted relationships.
  • Particularly looking for Accountants currently working within a small or medium-sized practice, where you've gained broad exposure rather than being restricted to one narrow area.
  • Ambitious candidates have scope to go further, taking ownership of their client base, welcoming new clients from their initial enquiry, and helping develop those relationships over the longer term.
  • Opportunity to become a genuine part of the continued growth of the practice rather than simply inherit a list of accounts to process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
