Job description details

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a proven track record in a Practice environment. You will be part of a team of expert accountants who provide a high-quality service to our predominantly owner-managed business client base.

Self Assessment & Limited company work

  • Client ownership: become a trusted contact for an agreed portfolio.
  • Technical delivery: prepare and finalise accounts and tax returns (SA100 & CT600) and accounts to Companies House
  • Proactive advice: identify relevant tax-planning opportunities and explain them clearly.
  • Firm development: improve processes, use technology effectively and help colleagues develop.

Desired skills and experience and behavioural competencies

  • ACCA or ACA qualified with 5+ year’s experience creating limited company accounts & self-assessment tax returns
  • Tech - Ability to use Xero/QuickBooks/FreeAgent software
  • Personable - communicates pleasantly internally and with clients
  • Accurate - keen eye for detail, accurate and concise
  • Passion - Loves being accountable and autonomous
