Our client is a modern, cloud-based accountancy practice providing bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, accounts, tax, and outsourced finance support to SMEs across Oxfordshire and beyond.
As their client base continues to grow, they are looking for a Practice Accountant (Tax & Accounts) to join their team on a part-time basis.
The Role
You'll support a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and tax returns, and providing day-to-day support. Working closely with the wider team, you'll help ensure work is completed accurately and deadlines are met, with the flexibility of part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory annual accounts
- Preparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
- Preparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100)
- Supporting VAT return reviews
- Supporting clients with day-to-day tax and accounting queries
- Helping monitor tax deadlines across your client portfolio
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Confident preparing statutory annual accounts for owner-managed businesses
- Confident preparing Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
- Confident preparing Self Assessment tax returns (SA100)
- AAT qualified (or part-qualified ATT/ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience)
- Comfortable using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
- Good attention to detail and a proactive, client-focused approach

£35,000 - £50,000 FTE DOE + Profit Share
