JOB TITLE: PRACTICE ASSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE LEAD
Department: Audit
What you will do
Company Secretarial
- Assist with iXBRL tagging of statutory accounts
- Documentation of share issues, transfers, cancellations, buy backs
- Identifying Persons with Significant Control and ensuring correct notifications at Companies House
- Reviewing and correcting details at Companies House
Firm Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering Regulations including adopting the role of Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer
- Ensuring the firm is compliant with Client Money Regulations
- Assisting with onboarding of clients
- Review Letter of Engagements across a range of client types
- Review staff training and ensure up to date and sufficient for their role
Technical
- Assist with Technical queries, including but not limited to
- Limited / LLP accounting treatments and disclosures
- Independent Examinations and Charities
- Group Accounts
- Corporate Tax
- Review of statutory accounts for compliance with accounting standards

Skills and Qualifications required
- 3+ years post qualified experience
- Significant experience and knowledge of FRS 102 including Section 1A
- Experience of working with SMEs
- Proficient analytical skills
- Effective organisation; and
- Ability to prioritise workload
Knowledge and Behaviours required
- Ability to prioritise and manage time in line with office deadlines
- Ability to meet deadlines, both those identified by management and by the applicant
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients and third parties
- Ability to use own initiative
