About the Role
In this key role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Yell Health Centre, as well as directly line managing our busy Reception team. The Yell Practice is a dispensing salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 1,000 patients in Yell and the neighbouring island of Fetlar. The Practice is salaried and is Paper light, using EMIS and DOCMAN.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Yell Health Centre
- Directly line manage the Reception team
- Ensure high-quality patient service within performance parameters
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of practice management processes, project management, IT, and staff management
- Maintain excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Show excellent understanding of confidentiality in all aspects of work
- Possess excellent keyboard skills and a professional approach in a busy environment

Requirements
- Compliance with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role
