Practice Operations Coordinator
Location: Chelsea, London
Salary: £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Start Date: 26 October 2026
About the Company
An established and award-winning architecture practice based in Chelsea is looking to appoint a Practice Operations Coordinator to support the smooth and efficient running of its growing studio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and commercially aware individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day operational functions of an established architectural practice.
About the Role
Working closely with the Practice Manager and Senior Management Team, you will act as a central point of coordination across the business, overseeing practice operations, supporting the wider team and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
The role covers a broad range of operational areas including office management, employee support, IT, finance, facilities, compliance and internal events.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice
- Support and coordinate the Admin Team and wider support staff
- Monitor operational expenditure, suppliers and practice-related spending
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- Support employee experience, engagement and day-to-day studio culture
- Coordinate onboarding for new starters, including IT setup and Health & Safety inductions
- Oversee office facilities, maintenance, repairs, security and suppliers
- Act as the internal point of contact for IT matters and external IT providers
- Monitor IT subscriptions, equipment and associated costs
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records
- Support practice audits, compliance and internal procedures
- Coordinate internal events and CPD activities
- Oversee event budgets and expenditure
- Prepare regular updates on operational and financial performance
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and Senior Management Team on wider practice initiatives

About You
- Previous experience in practice operations, office management or a similar coordination role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- Confident managing multiple priorities and working independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with senior management and supporting wider teams
- Proactive with a strong problem-solving approach
- Confident coordinating suppliers, contractors and external service providers
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Able to maintain accurate records and manage confidential information professionally
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support across the wider practice
- Professional, approachable and collaborative
