Practice Development Manager – Ipswich
📍 Location: Ipswich, IP1 1BT
💷 Salary: £35,000
⏰ Hours: 40 hours per week
📅 Working pattern: Monday–Saturday, with a weekday off
🚀 Start date: ASAP

Ready to make a real impact? Are you a driven, commercially minded leader who loves hitting targets, developing people and seeing the results of your work? We’re looking for an ambitious Practice Development Manager to join our Ipswich practice and play a key role in driving its growth, performance and success.
This isn’t a role where you sit back and watch the numbers — you’ll own them. Working alongside our clinical and non-clinical teams, you’ll identify opportunities, inspire performance, improve patient journeys and help turn great patient experiences into sustainable business growth.
What you'll be doing
- Drive practice growth and performance, taking ownership of commercial targets and KPIs
- Maximise treatment opportunities and confidently convert opportunities into results
- Identify ways to increase treatment uptake, patient retention and revenue
- Champion an exceptional patient journey and experience from first contact to treatment
- Work closely with clinicians, Practice Managers and central teams to deliver outstanding results
- Motivate, engage and develop your team, creating a high-performance culture
- Keep the practice running to the highest operational, compliance and governance standards
- Use data, insight and commercial awareness to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- Act as a key link between the practice and senior leadership, ensuring plans are delivered and results achieved

What we're looking for
You’re a natural leader, relationship builder and results driver. You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in practice management, sales, business development or a target-driven environment
- 5+ years’ practice management experience (essential)
- A strong commercial mindset and a genuine hunger to achieve results
- Confidence working with targets, KPIs and performance data
- The ability to motivate and bring the best out of people
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
- A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience
- Dental or healthcare experience is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as part of the practice rota
