📣 Volunteer Python/Java LeetCode-Style Session Leads

Organisation: Unlock Her Tech

Commitment: At least one 1.5-hour session per month—ideally two

About the opportunity

She Leads Tech Practice helps developers strengthen their coding, problem-solving, and technical interview skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We currently run TypeScript LeetCode-style problem-solving sessions and are now looking for experienced Python and Java engineers to lead similar sessions.
As a Session Lead, you will solve at least one LeetCode-style problem live, clearly explain your thought process, and encourage participants to explore different solutions.

What you’ll do

  • ✅ Host at least one 1.5-hour session per month—ideally two
  • ✅ Prepare and solve LeetCode-style problems live
  • ✅ Explain algorithms, data structures, and complexity clearly
  • ✅ Discuss different solutions and technical approaches
  • ✅ Encourage questions and active participation
  • ✅ Create a patient, supportive, and inclusive environment
  • ✅ Collaborate with other Session Leads and the Unlock Her Tech team

What we’re looking for

  • ✅ Strong proficiency in Python or Java
  • ✅ At least four years of professional engineering experience
  • ✅ Confidence leading interactive technical sessions
  • ✅ Ability to solve and explain LeetCode-style problems live
  • ✅ Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
  • ✅ Strong communication skills, empathy, and patience
  • ✅ Passion for sharing knowledge and helping others grow
  • ✅ Commitment to supporting and upskilling women in technology
