Based within our GB Retail business, IBU provides broking and risk advisory services to the UK operations of global organisations and UK headquartered SMEs.

The Role
People Leadership
- With empathy, leading, motivating and developing team skills, competencies, and behaviours.

- Working with stakeholders to deliver on recruitment needs.

Growth and Business Development
- Work with all stakeholders to review existing growth strategy.
- Deliver on your three-year strategic business plan (reviewed annually).
- Work with the senior leadership team and wider stakeholders to achieve retention and sales targets.
- Deliver on proposition, market sizing, and sales/marketing strategies.
- Maximise all GB Retail sales distribution channels.
- Personally lead a portfolio of clients.
- Personally lead prospect pitches.
Proposition Management
- Build on existing market-leading position.
- Realise/deliver on intrinsic growth opportunity (existing and new clients).
- Develop whole ecosystem working relationships.
Operational Delivery
- Maintain existing high-efficiency delivery model.
- Introduce efficiency gain ideas and optimal use of technology.
- Support/deliver on AI initiatives.
- Appreciation of how data and analytics can be successfully deployed.
What you’ll bring
- Understanding and knowledge of insurance Industry trends.
- Knowledge and experience of industry technologies and associated risk issues.
- The ability to lead a team.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent client service.
- Ability to develop a quick understanding of the operating environment and business objectives.
- Strong self-awareness with the ability to read stakeholder meetings and engagements.
