Are you a natural leader with the passion to inspire and motivate others in a fast-paced and dynamic veterinary environment?

Clevedon Vets for Pets are looking forward to welcoming a new team member on a part-time basis, of 20 hours with the view to increase in the future. If you have strong problem-solving skills, enjoy planning and delivering projects, and are confident managing HR processes within a diverse and inclusive team, this could be the perfect role for you.

Previous experience in a veterinary practice is not essential; however, proven leadership ability, strong organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team are qualities we value highly.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the practice. A key part of the position will be leading, supporting, and motivating the team while creating a positive and productive working environment.

You will oversee the operational management of the practice to ensure the delivery of high-quality animal healthcare services, while working closely with the business development partner to achieve business objectives and maximise the practice’s potential.

What will you do?

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the practice
  • Champion and embed our ethos of being the friendliest practice in the area across everything we do
  • Manage and implement HR policies, while supporting and developing our valued colleagues
  • Proactively resolve issues to ensure consistently high standards of service
  • Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team
  • Work closely with the business development partner to oversee and manage practice debt
  • Handle and resolve client complaints professionally and effectively
  • Effectively manage your own workload and diary to deliver all responsibilities successfully

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
