Our Vision

We're rebuilding the veterinary experience from the ground up, making access to care seamless, joyful, and genuinely personal for every pet and their owner. Our clinics combine beautiful design with first-class clinical care, creating spaces that vet teams, clients, and pets actually want to be in.

Our purpose is simple: healthier and happier pets and vets. That means competitive pay, sensible caseloads, real career development, and a culture where people are properly supported to do their best work. We're building the vet group of the future, and if that excites you, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you'll take full ownership of the non-clinical side of the Chelsea clinic, the operations, the finances, the team, and increasingly, the relationships that make this practice a fixture of the local area.

You'll sit on the Clinic Leadership Team alongside the Clinical Director and Head Nurse, and you'll be the person who makes sure that while our vets and nurses are looking after patients, everything else runs seamlessly around them.

This is a hands-on, commercially minded role for someone who loves solving problems, building relationships, and creating a workplace people are proud to be part of.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In Chelsea specifically, we're looking for someone who can pick up the local relationships already built with the community, local businesses, and pet owners, and keep growing the clinic's profile in an area with real character and a loyal, engaged pet-owning population. You don't need to have worked in veterinary before, but you do need to be an operationally strong, commercially minded leader with a track record of managing people and budgets — ideally in a healthcare, hospitality, or service-led business. Financial literacy (P&L, budgeting) and solid HR fundamentals (performance management, conflict resolution) are essential.

What matters most for this particular role: you know Chelsea, or you're genuinely excited to get to know it properly - its people, its rhythm, and what makes a local business feel like part of the community rather than just a shopfront on the street. If you've got a network here already, or a knack for building one quickly, even better!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the team - managing, motivating and developing the Practice Hosts, and creating a culture where people feel valued and supported
  • Running the clinic day to day - rotas, workflows, and keeping standards high across every part of the practice
  • Owning the numbers - reading the P&L and KPIs, managing costs, and spotting trends early so you can act on them
  • Building on the Chelsea community - continuing to nurture relationships with local pet owners and businesses, driving membership uptake, and keeping the clinic's profile strong through genuine local engagement and marketing initiatives
  • Championing client experience - setting the standard for how clients are treated, and turning feedback into action
  • Keeping things safe and compliant - leading on Health & Safety, RCVS standards, and GDPR across the clinic
