Practice Manager / Compliance Officer, Cambridgeshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager / Compliance Officer to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm. Working closely with the firm's Partners, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operational management of the practice, ensuring the business continues to meet its regulatory obligations while supporting its ongoing success.

The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position, offering significant responsibility across all aspects of practice management and legal compliance. Working closely with the Partners and senior leadership team, you will oversee the firm's compliance framework, support the smooth running of the practice and help ensure the business continues to operate efficiently and in line with all regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing and developing the firm's compliance processes and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Advising Partners and staff on regulatory and risk management matters.
- Monitoring policies, procedures, and best practice across the firm.
- Assisting with audits, file reviews, and compliance reporting.
- Supporting the operational management of the practice and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have experience within a legal compliance or practice management environment and possess a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements within the legal sector.
You Will Be
- An experienced Practice Manager, Compliance Officer, or legal professional with compliance responsibilities.
- Knowledgeable in SRA regulations, risk management, and legal compliance.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- A confident communicator, capable of building effective relationships across all levels of the firm.
- Proactive, commercially aware, and able to identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
