Practice Manager

Location: Lombard Street, London City
Salary: Up to £45,000 + bonus structure & benefits

Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc.

We are looking for a focused individual to join this growing team. The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this successful wealth management office to ensure high standards of client service, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team performance. This role supports the Financial Advisors by managing non-advisory business functions, enabling them to focus on client relationships and financial planning.

The Role

The role will encompass all operational aspects of the business, positively contributing to team strategy, shaping its direction and promoting a fun working environment.

  • Coordinate team workflow to optimise output and drive the team forward by promoting efficient collaborative working
  • Set weekly priorities, distribute workload, and conduct regular 1-1s to support performance management and ensure the support team maintains & develops its productivity
  • Liaise with advisers, providers, and administration centres to progress cases to completion
  • Supporting the admin team to ensure business processes are adhered to in line with Practice and regulatory standards – maximise the PQS and productivity metrics
  • Coordinate communication with clients and third-party providers and deliver regular updates to the Advisors
  • Track leads, referrals, and pipeline activity in Salesforce across the business
  • Engage with clients and develop strong working relationships
  • When required complete suitability reports, process applications and submit advice sets

What we are looking for in you: Practice Manager

  • Experience in Financial Services in a private client environment is essential, SJP experience would be preferred.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy, a working knowledge of technical administration, communications, marketing and events
  • Ability to create intelligent data and use it for analysis and marketing purposes
  • Strong organisational & leadership skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead people
  • Confident communicator, independent thinker with a passion for administration
  • Relevant experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn, AI, comms & technology tools
