Practice Nurse - Durham
Location: Durham
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time
Pay: £20.00 to £25.00 per hour
We are recruiting on behalf of a GP surgery in Durham seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their team.
This role would suit a nurse who enjoys working in primary care and wants the opportunity to develop their role within an established GP practice.
About the Position
You will work alongside GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care to the practice population.

- Chronic disease management
- Diabetes, COPD and asthma clinics

- Wound care
- Cervical cytology
- Immunisations and vaccinations
- QOF
- Patient education
- Health promotion
- General Practice Nurse clinics

About You
You should have:
- Current NMC registration
- Previous Practice Nursing experience
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Experience managing long-term conditions
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
