Practice Receptionist – Lerwick GP Practice (Ref: 258043)
Job Details
- Position Type: Fixed term post for 12 months
- Hours: Part Time - 21 hours per week
- Salary: Band 3, Salary Range £29,103 - £31,409 per annum (pro rata)
- Additional Allowance: Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata)
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Band 3 Receptionist in the Lerwick GP Practice. The Lerwick Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 8,700 patients.
This contract is fixed-term for 12 months from the start date to allow for ongoing workforce planning and review of establishment. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
In this busy and demanding post, you will find no two days the same – the Reception staff have a key role in answering queries from members of the public as well as typing letters and referrals. Previous experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage, but training on the job will be given.
