Tayside Psychological Therapies Service
Tayside Psychological Therapies Service is looking to appoint to a Band 8b Clinical/Forensic Psychologist post for 0.72 wte for the Tayside Area which will currently be mainly based within Learning Disabilities Psychological Therapies Service at Strathmartine Centre, Dundee but travel across Tayside area is an expected aspect of the role. (Base currently under review and may be subject to change). The applicant should have relevant post qualification clinical experience who is committed to delivering high quality and effective psychological services for adults with a learning disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessment, treatment and consultation to adults with learning disabilities, carers and families in the Tayside Region.
- Work within forensic, community, outpatient and day service settings for delivery of individual and group interventions.
- Take a senior role in assessment and the formulation of highly complex cases within the context of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
- Provide consultation and supervision to other staff members and multi-disciplinary colleagues.
- Provide supervision to Doctoral Trainee Clinical Psychologist’s.
- Contribute to an established training agenda.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Eligible for registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Chartered Status with the British Psychological Society.
