Pulse is recruiting for a Registered Psychologist to join an established multidisciplinary therapeutic service supporting children, young people and vulnerable adults across the Greater Manchester and North West region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Forensic Psychologist looking to work within a supportive and progressive organisation committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes. You will support individuals presenting with a range of complex needs, including trauma, attachment difficulties, harmful sexual behaviour (HSB), autism spectrum conditions (ASC/ASD), mental health difficulties and forensic presentations.

Responsibilities
As a Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based psychological support and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking psychological and clinical assessments.
- Developing and delivering tailored intervention and treatment plans.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Completing behavioural and risk assessments and contributing to risk management planning.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Supporting psychologically informed practice across services.
- Delivering consultation, guidance and training to care and education professionals.
- Building effective relationships with families, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Attending and contributing to professional meetings and reviews.
- Supporting the development and implementation of therapeutic approaches and best practice across services.

Qualifications and Experience
We welcome applications from dedicated and compassionate psychologists who are passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
Essential Requirements
- Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience working with one or more of the following:
- Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attachment difficulties and developmental trauma
- Mental health difficulties
- Forensic or complex presentations

Desirable Experience
- Experience within residential care, education or specialist therapeutic services.
- Knowledge or experience of approaches such as CBT, DBT, DDP, Systemic Psychotherapy, EMDR or Person-Centred Therapy.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
