About The Role

A Pre-Assembler position is available in Kingswinford, paying £14.71 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis with potential for permanency. Working Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm, you will prepare materials and work orders for a manufacturing production team.

Duties involve reviewing the work order system, picking and moving materials, and decanting orders onto trolleys accurately. You will work from drawings and customer specifications, so precision and careful attention are essential. Prior experience in assembly, warehouse, or production environments is required. This hands-on role suits someone reliable who can manage physical tasks and follow detailed instructions consistently.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pre-Assembler to join our client's busy manufacturing and production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in assembly, production, warehouse, or manufacturing work. As a Pre-Assembler, you will prepare materials and work orders for production and ensure everything is ready for the assembly team. You will be working from drawings and customer specifications, so good attention to detail and accuracy are important.

The Role Will Include

  • Reviewing the work order system to identify the next job
  • Picking and moving materials ready for production
  • Decanting orders onto trolleys accurately
  • Moving work into the correct assembly queues
  • Distributing work to the relevant team members
  • Assembly and production work
  • Supplying materials to production areas as required
  • Moving and storing materials correctly
  • Loading and preparing products for dispatch
  • Carrying out basic checks on materials and products
  • Removing empty boxes and carts from the assembly area
  • Keeping the work area clean, tidy, and organised
  • Completing paperwork and system records when required
  • Following all Health and Safety procedures

About You

The ideal Pre-Assembler will be reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a busy production environment.

You will need

  • Previous assembly, production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is useful
  • Ability to work from drawings and customer specifications
  • Good attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and manage different jobs
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential

This Pre-Assembler role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent.
