Pre-Construction Lead
Location: London
Salary: £100k - £120k + above-industry commission
I’m working with a London-based design and build fit-out business who are looking for a Pre-Construction Lead to take charge of projects from £1m to £8m across both Cat A & Cat B.
We’ve worked with this business a lot over the last couple of years, so we know the pre-con team, how they operate and the type of projects they deliver. They’ve got a great culture, a really nice office and some brilliant projects going through the business.
They’re off to a great start this year and need someone who can come in, manage multiple projects and lead from the front.
Day to Day:
- Take the reins on multiple projects through pre-con, from pitching and costing through to negotiating contracts and dealing with the supply chain.
- Be the person driving the process, keeping everything moving and making sure the team are putting their best foot forward on every opportunity.

What they’re looking for:
- Strong pre-construction experience within commercial fit-out
- Experience across both Cat A & Cat B projects
- Comfortable running multiple projects between £1m and £8m
- Confident pitching and presenting to clients
- Strong costing and commercial understanding
- Experience negotiating contracts
- Good relationships and understanding of the supply chain
- Someone who can lead from the front and get the best out of a strong team
- Ambition to step into a Head of Pre-Construction role
