Pre-Construction Manager

Location

London

Salary

£50k - £60k + package & commission

About the Role

I’m working with a London-based design and build fit-out firm who are on the lookout for a Pre-Construction Manager to cover their small works projects, typically ranging from £100k to £750k.

They’re a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work and a really good reputation in the market. Despite being a bigger company, they’ve managed to keep the culture in a great spot. They’re friendly, work well together and have a good track record of developing and promoting people from within.

Day to day, you’ll take the reins on the pre-con side of their smaller projects, working with the wider team to get jobs properly set up before they hit site. You’ll be involved across the early stages, helping pull everything together and making sure projects are in the right place to move into delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Ideally experience working for a design and build contractor
  • A good understanding of the pre-con process
