Job Title: Pre-Construction Lead
Location: Stourbridge
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm & Friday, 9am-4pm
We are currently looking for a Pre-Construction Lead to join our team here at Argus Fire | Part of Mitie. You will be responsible for providing support to our clients during the pre-construction phase of selected projects.
Responsibilities
- Providing early project engagement
- Providing clients with initial support during the pre-construction phase of selected projects
- Producing all necessary project-related pre-construction documentation on selected projects in accordance with clients' requirements
- Carrying out technical reviews in conjunction with the Design & Technical Manager during the pre-construction phase of selected projects in order to advise the client of any departures from the design standard and any potential certification issues
- Carrying out pre-procurement with suppliers and subcontractors as necessary
- Attending pre-construction meetings as necessary

Experience & Skills
- Post-secondary education - HNC, ONC, BTEC, A Levels or equivalent
- Good technical knowledge of fire suppression and fire protection systems
- 3-5 years' experience within the construction industry in a Pre-Construction Lead, Design or Project Management role (or similar), preferably within the sprinkler industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planner, well-organised and resourceful
- Excellent numerate, analytical/problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
