Region NCE and Global Offshore > NCE > Offshore CPX Pre-Installation NCE Team 1
Our department consists of following teams of supervisors and technical supporting teams, as well as Pre-Installation, Installation and Commissioning. We develop and supply skilled and committed resources with the right mindset. We coordinate and develop people and teams to support operational success. We create a culture of safety, cost consciousness and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Vestas's safety and quality standards for all tasks
  • Manage and coordinate documentation related to Pre-installation with the Quality Supervisor
  • Use the latest revisions of work and installation instructions
  • Ensure correct torque/tension values and processes are applied
  • Oversee inventory and condition of tools and lifting gear with the Subcontractor
  • Communicate new safety and Pre-installation updates to staff, and supervise lifting operations to ensure compliance with plans and assessments
  • Ensure the Pre-installation team's performance and safety, conduct mechanical inspections, order necessary parts, handle NCRs with the Quality Supervisor, support the Q-team, and monitor site progress to meet timelines

Qualifications

  • You will have mechanical or electrical background
  • Previous wind industry experience, for example with V164 or other new Vestas turbines
  • Highly focused on HSE, quality and customer relations
  • Have knowledge of how to coordinate general safety and safety awareness
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient MS Office and SAP user

  • You should have great interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate with various stakeholders
  • You are solution orientated with a significant focus on meeting deadlines
  • You can maintain focus in a time-sensitive situation
  • You have solid time management skills and consequently able to balance responsibilities and prioritise your tasks appropriately
  • Able to contribute effectively, and work with limited to no supervision as well as in a team
  • You are team orientated with solid leadership skills and a structured way of working
  • Focused, with skills in negotiation

What we offer

In this role you will be involved in large projects within renewable energy and grow professionally and personally in the interaction with several different stakeholders and colleagues from different departments. In the Pre-Installation department, we are a team of skilled and committed colleagues who are all enthusiastic about wind energy. We have a good atmosphere where everyone is prepared to assist when needed. You will have the opportunity to develop a solid experience in a global company within a very exciting industry.

Additional information

  • Primary work location: You can be based anywhere in Denmark, or the UK.
  • This position requires approximately 180 days of global travel per year.
