Pre Litigation Fee Earner

Personal Injury Full-time | Permanent Blackburn, Lancashire

About The Role

Are you an organised, proactive individual with experience in personal injury claims? We’re looking for a Pre-Litigation File Handler to join our busy and supportive team, managing a caseload of RTA or personal injury files from instruction through to litigation handoff or settlement.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and is focused on client care and early resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of pre-litigated RTA or PI claims
  • Assess liability, gather evidence, and progress cases through the MOJ Portal or OIC
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical agencies, and third parties
  • Draft correspondence and case documentation, including settlement packs
  • Identify cases ready for litigation or closure, and prepare accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with internal SLAs and regulatory requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
