Job Opportunity
We now have a great opportunity for a Pre-Press & Production Operative to join our signage and branding team, working in a high energy and modern environment within a supportive team. This is a varied role, split between preparing accurate, print-ready artwork files and supporting our in-house production department. You will work closely with our design team and production department on a daily basis, and will report to our Production Manager, with the wider production department reporting into our Technical Director. You will be provided with the opportunity to progress your career and develop your knowledge of our pre-press, sign making and production processes, whilst working with individuals who are highly focused on achieving high quality standards and efficiency measures.

The Role
- Preparing and creating accurate, print-ready artwork files from design department briefs, using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ready for our printing process.
- Checking artwork for accuracy prior to print, including imposition, colour, bleed and trim marks, and liaising with the design team to resolve any file issues.
- When not working on pre-press tasks, supporting the production department with sign making, assembly and finishing processes.
What We Ideally Expect From You
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good working knowledge of the wider Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to interpret design briefs accurately and prepare accurate, print-ready files
- Understanding of print production processes, including bleed, trim, colour profiles and imposition
- Good eye for detail and quality control, with the ability to work closely with the design and production departments and adapt to new techniques and software easily.

Non-essential But Advantageous Requirements
- Previous pre-press experience within a print or signage environment
- Experience with large format print and RIP software
- Experience with vinyl or wider sign making processes
- Driving License
What You Can Expect From Us
- Flexible working. 8.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday. You can work these hours flexibly between 7am and 6.30pm
