Are you passionate about helping organisations unlock the potential of Artificial Intelligence and shaping innovative solutions that deliver real business value?

As our Pre-sales AI Solutions Architect within the AI Practice, you'll combine technical leadership, client engagement, and strategic thinking to help grow our AI capabilities across a wide range of UK sectors. You'll have the opportunity to shape and own innovative AI solutions, influence technology strategy, and help clients realise the benefits of emerging technologies.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, lead complex bid activities, and support the growth of both our AI Practice and architecture capability. You'll also represent Sopra Steria at industry events and conferences, helping to build our market presence and showcase our expertise.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing AI architecture team while fostering strong relationships across Sopra Steria.
  • Support the definition and refinement of business requirements for AI opportunities and initiatives.
  • Design and own technical solutions across pre-sales, delivery, and reusable architectural blueprints.
  • Develop compelling AI propositions and support go-to-market activities across multiple sectors.
  • Lead technical solution design activities and author high-quality bids, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Build trusted client relationships and represent Sopra Steria at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven pre-sales experience, including authoring bids, developing proposals, and helping secure new business opportunities.
  • Experience designing and delivering AI solutions within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Machine Learning, Generative AI, AI Agents, AWS AI, and Azure AI.
  • Experience developing AI-enhanced digital assistant solutions such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and ethical AI frameworks.

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent.

Location: Can be based anywhere in the UK.

Security Clearance Level: Must be eligible for SC clearance.

Salary: Up to £101,000.

Benefits: £6,600 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
