About the Role

We provide thought leadership together with a combination of technical and commercial ability to assist in the delivery of solutions to the client base. This capability is tailored to each client or deal.

We work in collaboration with an internal team from the Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, Solutions, and partner management areas to provide consultative selling support to UnaVista prospects and clients.

We focus on understanding the client objectives. With this knowledge combined with intelligence of the prospects' business goals, we can craft the most appropriate solution.

You will be developing opportunities addressing a wide range of business processes for a variety of differing clients within the sell side and buy side community. You are able to use the software platform and, together with the associated business solutions, can use the technologies to illustrate and demonstrate how the standard software can be delivered, extended, and customized to achieve and exceed the customer objectives. You have the experience and background to lead discussions on how to implement and integrate the software into the client's business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Sales Support

  • Solution selling – identify with the wider LSEG Post Trade Regulatory client team the best solution for the client. Compile messaging to illustrate the benefits of the solution
  • Participate in the sales team meetings that will qualify opportunities and define successful sales strategies
  • Lead and implement the Request for Information process, working with the sales lead responsible for the account and other groups to enable successful delivery of proposals
  • Remote and onsite delivery of workshops and presentations to the prospect to position the proposed solution recommendations as well as product demonstrations
  • Identifying potential delivery risk, and helping colleagues in Professional Services to structure Statements of Work so that risk is mitigated or priced to ensure project profitability
  • Run successful customized demonstrations of the platform that highlight the key values and technical benefits. You will demonstrate how customer objectives can be achieved using the platform and can implement specific customer requirements that were raised during the sales process

Participate in Go to Market activities

  • Development of generic product demonstrations, key product messages, and co-author marketing material, adding to compelling thought leadership on both the market / technical landscape
  • Working closely with the Product organization to enable development of product roadmaps and new product releases that meet the needs of our customers
  • Participate in multiple marketing activities that can include acting as a speaker at industry and LSEG events
  • Enabling and supporting the LSEG Post Trade Regulatory partner network

Key Behaviours and Skills Required

  • Experience with implementing and/or configuring solutions in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience with both buy side and sell side front to back office processes desired;
  • Experience with supporting or leading software sales processes
  • Be able to craft, present and sell a solution to a client using available products
  • Significant, proven experience in a business and/or technical role.
  • Combines broad computer technology knowledge (including CLOUD capabilities) with passing knowledge with MSSQL
  • Ability to listen to clients and understand their priorities and business needs
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks/projects simultaneously; strong prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, with minimum supervision
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis to help resolve and prevent issues
  • Excellent client service and follow-up skills
  • Experience in defining business and technical requirements, presenting requirements to a project and implementation team
  • Language: Proficient in English. Capable of speaking one or more other languages is an advantage
