We are looking for a Pre-Sales Lead in Customer Unit UK & Ireland to lead the pre-sales business for one of the accounts in the UK.
To support the KAM organization with product and solution expertise on different levels in pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects. Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader. Secure that customer feedback is shared with EMEA and BU Networks organization.
This role is critical in ensuring the effective and seamless execution of E2E solutions, delivering exceptional customer outcomes, and providing technical leadership in presales engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both technical presales and services delivery, with a focus on NMS strategies that drive measurable value for Ericsson customers.

What will you do:
- Position Ericsson as a leader in the NMS portfolio by sharing expertise and thought leadership in the industry.
- Communicate and discuss Ericsson’s technology strategy and vision with key stakeholders on the customer side such as CTO/CIO and direct reports.
- Ensure customers have a clear understanding of Ericsson’s latest technological solutions and their competitive advantages.
- Support customers in shaping a robust, future-focused Network Evolution strategy.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on NMS solutions and strategies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and challenges, helping to design solutions that drive performance improvements and cost savings.
- Serve as the focal point for the KAM team on all Networks Presales matters, supporting business development and project execution in alignment with the CORE-3 way of working.
- Ensure close collaboration and knowledge sharing between other CU E2E Networks functions including Customer Solution Managers, COM and wider delivery team to ensure that everyone is aware and aligned on the agreed customer strategy.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the Customer Unit.
- Accountable for developing and delivering superior end-to-end solutions spanning across Radio and Transport portfolio, with all associated Deployment, Design Optimization, Performance & Evolution and Support Services, as well as Managed Services in CU UK and Ireland.
- Align Ericsson's full Networks portfolio roadmap (Radio Access Network, Transport, Compute, hardware, software, and services) with the business needs.
- Lead performance evaluations, feature improvements, and operational excellence initiatives on Ericsson's Networks portfolio deployed with our customers.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in specific technologies, products/service, or solutions.
- Support CSR or Solution Architects in specific technical issues.
- Leverage on EMEA Networks Practice Area teams and strengthen the collaboration to drive product requirements, NPI and Sales Programs.
- Cascade BNEW solution initiatives and propositions and adopt them in the customers’ strategy following a techno-commercial approach.
- Work with Sales, Commercial Management and EMEA Networks teams to develop and build value argumentation.
- Drive change management of sales engagement behavior and delivery execution.
- Provide sales support expertise, contribute to knowledge sharing.

You will bring
Competence
- Strong Pre-Sales and Service Delivery business understanding and experience.
- Strong pre-sales and service delivery business understanding, with extensive experience supporting commercial engagements.
- Deep expertise in end-to-end telecom networks, especially RAN technologies (LTE, 5G NR, 5G-Advanced, Cloud RAN, rApps, automation, and network performance).
- Solid technical foundation in telecommunications systems, combined with a continuous-learning mindset to stay current with evolving technologies and regulatory changes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ericsson’s E2E Networks portfolio across both Products and Services.
- Strong customer intimacy skills with the ability to build trust and influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Proficient in consultative selling across techno-commercial and services engagement models.
- Strong financial understanding paired with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety operational processes and relevant legal requirements.
- Proven leadership experience managing complex technical teams and multi-domain network projects.

Experiences
- At least 7+ years of experience in a technical role in service delivery, technical presales, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical expertise in NMS portfolio, tools, and technologies, along with a deep understanding of service delivery processes.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale optimization solutions in complex environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on driving business results for clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities effectively.
